Dave,

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful week. I am thrilled at the opportunity the 1STRCFS gave me to re-learn the proper way to fly. 2 years of bad instruction and the resulting 17 crashes are now way behind me.

I now have the confidence that I am totally in control of my plane. The DAS system just can't be that simple, and yet it is!!!

I cannot thank you enough for your individual approach to curing my problems. As a former educator, you are both a master teacher and instructor in that you individualize the course for the pilots real level of ability, repairing the damage that practicing mistakes over and over again had caused.

Your analysis of what I was doing wrong was dead on, and your corrections were logical and easy to follow. You re-made me as a pilot.

The course totally exceeded my expectations, and I had high expectations. I cannot wait to hit the field and practice all I have learned.

I spent the entire flight home on my laptop with the Great Planes G2 Simulator, doing everything we practiced, and my wife said that I had a huge grin on my face.

Please feel free to have anyone who wants confirmation of your courses worth to email me. I will tell them that it is the best $600 I have ever spent in the hobby, a mere pittance compared to all the crashes due to errors that I was committing and now both understand the correct way to fly with crystal clarity.

I will be giving you a call on Monday to arrange for next year's course. You are now an integral part of my RC development as a skilled pilot.
