I just wanted to give you a big "THANK YOU" for your professional and sincere teaching techniques used in your Advanced Aerobatics School. Not only do I appreciate your personal dedication to making sure every point and question is covered, but also your D.A.S. system training and study guide is like getting a refresher course any time I desire. I am 15 years old and have been flying for about 3 years. Upon learning to fly the basics from my father, who attended your primary solo school, I developed a great appreciation and passion to fly precision aerobatics. My father and I practiced and trained until I felt I was ready for my first IMAC competition. I finished 13th (next to last only because the last place pilot crashed). We were somewhat overwhelmed as we thought we had it figured out. My dad then suggested that we need to learn it right the first time and not from the "guys at the local field". Who better then to learn from (RIGHT THE FIRST TIME) than from master instructor, David Scott. What an advantage! You taught me more in 1 week what would have taken me many many years to figure out on my own. I immediately took what you taught me and applied it to my practice. I continued to reference the Advanced Aerobatic Manual to log those key points in my mind. Even trimming and setting up my aircraft has been aided in the information you gave me about set up and flight characteristics. When I felt it was time for a try at IMAC again I came home with 2nd place in my class as well as 1st place in the freestyle event. My father and I were astounded! Even the fliers that remembered my inability from last year couldn’t believe the difference in my flying this year and questioned me as to how I improved so quickly. We drove to Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff S.C. in June 06 to participate in the Matt hapman Youth Masters. This was a two-day event. I entered in the Advanced class as well as the Saturday Freestyle to music event. To make a long story short, I came away with 1st place in both events. What a better place to win an event than Triple Tree! I just arrived home from my most recent IMAC competition and
I am proud to say that I came home with a first place finish. I am
so excited and proud of my abilities sharpened and honed to Our hats are off to you, David Scott, and your First US R/C Flight School! Nothing can speak louder than results and that is exactly what you delivered! Best Regards and with much gratitude. Seth Arnold
