1st U.S. R/C Flight School students, Seth Arnold and Pride Grimm,
place 1st and 2nd at U.S. Nationals despite midair!

In June of 2008, Pride Grimm, age 31, from High Point, NC, placed second in the Sportsman category at the 2008 U.S. IMAC Nationals held in Muncie, IN.

Seth Arnold, age 16, from Hew Holland, OH, won the Advanced Category and Freestyle event at Nationals.

Seth has been flying for 5 years and Pride has been flying for 3 years. Both are students of 1st U.S. R/C Flight School in Shawano, WI.

Side note: Pride was in first place and leading by a huge margin going into the last round when another flyer flew into his airspace and midaired his plane as Pride was executing his first figure. Despite not flying the last round, Pride ended up in 2nd place by only 40 points!
