Testimonial 7/26/06 Dave, I just wanted to thank you for a superb 4 days in the Precision Aerobatics class, and for once again exceeding my expectations in R/C flying. My original intent in taking the Precision Aerobatics class (9 months following successful completion of the Sport Aerobatics class) included: 1. Validation of my skills for the basic aerobatic maneuvers 2. Refinement of the basic aerobatic maneuvers to include 3. Utilization of left stick Rudder control to correct for The Precision Aerobatics course brought us back to the basics of parallel lines, and smooth, relaxed movements of the control surfaces. With these tenants as our basics, I was amazed at how quickly Jim and I learned to use the rudder control! It was simply a matter of 'trusting your control inputs' and not reacting to what the plane was doing! The rudder helped correct wind deviations, but was not very effective in trying to correct 'being out of position' or getting behind the airplane and reacting to it. I had several great flights during the week. On those flights that were not as pretty, it was clear that I was either not flying parallel, was too close or too far away from Show Center, or was trying to rush the maneuvers and basically reacting to the airplane. The beauty of the DAS system is that all I need to do is go 'back to the basics' and I would get back on track with some smooth flying and refined aerobatics. Understanding these basics allows one to go back and reflect on what mistakes were made, make the required refinements, and proceed once again with confidence in flying aerobatics. I look forward to returning next June for the Advanced aerobatics class and expanding my horizons in R/C flying. Thanks again Dave for a great, repeatable learning methodology that has taken me light years ahead of my local Club R/C colleagues! Regards, Jeff Wallach
